TOWNSEND — Superintendent Brad Morgan and Hawthorne Brook Principal Chantele Olmstead are proud to share that sixth-grade student Arja Hannon has received an honorable mention in the 2025-2026 Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) Poster Project.

This year’s project, themed “Kind People are the Best Kind of People,” invited students from across Massachusetts to showcase their creativity and reflect on the importance of kindness. The competition received 151 entries from 33 schools statewide, making Hannon’s recognition an outstanding achievement.

“We are incredibly proud of Arja for earning this honor,” said Principal Olmstead. “Her creativity and message exemplify the values of kindness and compassion that we strive to achieve in our school community.”

MPY extended its congratulations to all participants, thanking students and schools for contributing to a meaningful and inspiring project. The organization emphasized that the time, creativity and effort invested in each poster made this year’s program a tremendous success.
